The Saucony Endorphin Speed 4 is a great update for a shoe that was arguably one of our most popular up-tempo training/speed shoes.  This year, Saucony continues to use their soft but responsive PWRUN PB foam but has redesigned the winged nylon plate to add some more rigidity in the heel area so the shoe does not feel too soft on impact while also adding some stability when cornering in the shoe.  Combined with Saucony’s SPEEDROLL technology and a great fitting upper, the Endorphin Speed 4 is a really fun shoe to run in.

If you are putting in lots of km’s, the Endorphin Speed 4 is still likely going to be your secondary training shoe for those fast days.  But if you want a shoe that is cushioned and fun to run in and you are not putting in mega km’s then the versatility of the Speed 4 might allow this shoe to be your everyday trainer.
