Our Take 

The New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Trainer is one of the most exciting shoes we have on the wall at Frontrunners. With an extremely high stack height paired with New Balance’s carbon fiber plate technology, we have a shoe that is both extremely comfortable and fast underfoot.

It is hard not to notice the 47mm FuelCell midsole.  With all that cushion underfoot it is a pretty ‘bouncy’ underfoot experience.  Yet New Balance has also somehow managed to design the shoe to keep it looking slick (and its sleek upper fits great).  In other words, we think the shoe looks good!  Hidden in that shoe of course is New Balance’s Energy Arc Technology (carbon plate) and that is where New Balance blends the everyday training element with a tempo feel.  The result is a shoe that is really fun to run in!
