Our Take 

We have had such great success with the regular Asics Trabuco that we opted to give the Trabuco Max 2 a try in-store.  In short, the Trabuco Max is the max cushioned version of the regular Trabuco and with 43mm of midsole it definitely provides a cushioned experience.

Of course with all that cushion you are going to lose some ground feel but that is to be expected with this kind of shoe.  Think of it more as a monster truck on the trails, allowing you to run further and in more comfort than you ever thought possible.  Topped off with a great outsole that provides super traction in all conditions, and the Trabuco Max has everything you need to run in ultimate comfort.
