The all-new Hoka Mach X 2 is a propulsive speed-training shoe that brings a race day feel to everyday training. 

Inspired by the Ciele X1’s race-ready geometry, Hoka combined an extra resilient PEBA-topped midsole and increased rocker profile for an aggressive toe-off, then extended the Pebax® plate design for enhanced support and propulsion. 

The extra breathable and supportive woven upper is indeed light feeling and the minimal padding around the heel colour creates a track-spike type fit but not everyone will love losing the padding.
