Our Take 

The Gel-Sonoma 7 GTX is a great option for a more affordable Gore-Tex™ shoe.  With a full-length AMPLIFOAM™ midsole and GEL® technology in the heel you will have lots of cushioning for your walking or running adventures in the winter months.  A trail specific outsole is functional for providing traction on the up and downhills but mostly this is a hybrid shoe for everyday winter wear.

Technology

• Gore-Tex™ membrane helps prevent rain and snow from entering the shoe’s interior.
• At least 20% of the shoe’s main upper material is made with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions.
• The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology.
• AMPLIFOAM™ technology cushioning helps create a soft and flexible feeling underfoot.
