When people think of Altra they often think of the Lone Peak.  This really is the icon of the Altra line up in part because the shoe is built with Altra’s roomiest toe box, giving your toes plenty of space to move freely, whether that is for fast-packing, running your first ultra a or walking the dog on your favorite trail.

Still built on a zero drop last to place your foot in a natural position, we hope the new upper will add durability to the shoe while the improved MacTrac™ outsole will provide confidence with every step no matter the terrain.  Updating the Altra EGO™ midsole foam is meant to deliver a more comfortable connection to the ground at an even lighter weight than before.  All updates we can stand by!
