Our Take 

For twenty seasons the Brooks Glycerin has been that reliable, cushioned, great fitting everyday trainer that people have come to love.  This season we see a big overhaul from top to bottom and they are all changes we love plus the addition of a StealthFit version which has a closer fit with stretch and compression to move with the foot (it is also over half an oz. lighter).  The updated midsole is now using nitrogen-infused DNA Loft V3 cushioning.  Nitrogen infusion allows for max cushion creating Brooks’ softest midsole while maintaining responsiveness on push-off.  It also allows for more durability in the midsole. The redesigned outsole provides a smoother transition from heel to toe.  The widened midfoot and outsole provides a more stable ride and offers an amped up cushion experience (the GTS provides an even wider midfoot for additional stability).
